Submission guidelines are as follows:


Poetry: 3-5 poems. Simultaneous submissions are accepted. Previously published poems are accepted as long as credits are noted. Submit in the body of an e-mail.

Non-fiction: Simultaneous submissions are accepted. If it was previously published, then accreditation is required. Submit in the body of an e-mail. 

Fiction: Simultaneous submissions are accepted. If it was previously published, then accreditation is required. Submit in the body of an e-mail. 

Response time: Because we do give each piece individual attention, it can take anywhere from an hour to 12 weeks. If you haven’t heard from us in 12 weeks, send us a query. In general, we are relatively quick to respond.

Bio-sketch: Try and include a brief professional biography. A representative sampling of previous publications is acceptable.

Multiple Submissions: Please refrain from sending multiple submissions. Once we reply, you may then send more (assuming our reading period is still open).

Copyright: Copyright reverts to author after publication. 

Copyright Explained: Once your work has been accepted into Sixers Review, your submission retroactively operates as an agreement to have your work under International Copyright, courtesy of Sixers Review, so that your work may be protected and legally logged as having been part of the Review. All rights then revert to you, the author, and you are free to do with your work what you wish. By means of this agreement, we assume the right to keep your work up, both on our active home page and later in our viewable archive so that others may witness the radiance of your work. As an extension of this, we do ask that if your featured work is printed elsewhere that Sixers Review be acknowledged as having previously published the work. In the even your work is chosen to be included in our print edition, your will be contacted for permissions and approval. Reading Period: We accept submissions on a rolling basis. We usually wait until our very large inboxes can hold no more, then, we very sadly close submission until our next reading period. Reading period status will always be at the top of this page.
